Dave Harmon


President & CEO

After working as a flight instructor at a leading helicopter flight school in England, he decided to invest in his own business in the United States. As a result, Ocean Helicopters was founded in November 2000.

Gill Harmon


Operations Director

Gill is our Operations Director and takes care of the day-to-day running of Ocean Helicopters. She is the person who will answer all your emails and telephone calls, and will make all the arrangements for your training here.

Andy McAllister


Chief Pilot

Andy took his first helicopter lesson at age 13, and was a Flight Instructor by the age of 18. He flies the majority of Ocean Helicopters’ photo flights and surveys, and is the Chief Pilot of our Part 133 External Load operations and unmanned aircraft/drone operations.

Martin Corbeel


Flight Instructor

Martin grew up in Melbourne, FL. He attended Santa Fe College in Gainesville for nursing, but didn’t enjoy it, and decided to pursue flying helicopters instead. Martin enjoys flying, surfing, and riding motorcycles.

DJ Carbone


Flight Instructor

Originally from Warren, Ohio, “DJ” served 20 years in the U.S. Army before retiring in 2013. He always planned on a second career in aviation and moved to Florida to join the Ocean Helicopters team. DJ also enjoys spending time with his wife Wendy, skydiving, SCUBA diving and training for the next big triathlon.

Morne Petersen


Flight Instructor

Born and raised in South Africa, Morne joined the South African police force after high school where he served a number of years. in 1999, he moved to Florida to join the Superyacht Industry. In his spare time, Morne pursued his dream of becoming a helicopter pilot, joining the Ocean Helicopters team in 2016.

Tyler Land


Flight Instructor

Tyler is from the small town of Madison, Florida, where he spent many days as a farm hand on his grandfather’s farm. After discovering his passion for flying, he relocated to West Palm Beach, and was given the opportunity to join the team at Ocean Helicopters after completing his training. When he is not flying, Tyler enjoys SCUBA diving, spear fishing, and riding ATVs.
