Staff and Fleet
Ocean Helicopters is owned and operated by Dave and Gill Harmon. Dave runs the corporate headquarters, and Gill takes care of the day to day running of the office. Their son, Andy, is an instructor at the school.Pam Landis is our VP and Chief Flight Instructor of our Flight School.
We have a team of experienced, multi-national, flight instructors, who are dedicated to helping each student reach their goals. All of our Instructors at Ocean Helicopters have attended the Robinson Helicopter Factory Safety Course in Torrance, California.
Ocean Helicopters has a fleet of well-maintained helicopters.
It consists of several Robinson R-22's. This helicopter is arguably the most popular training helicopter around the globe. It is a safe, yet versatile helicopter.
We have also use Robinson R-44's. This is the 4 seat version of the R-22. This great helicopter is very smooth to fly and is a good stepping-stone up from the R-22. At present it is the best selling helicopter in the world.
Complimenting our fleet we have both Schweizer 300CBi's and 300CB's, very popular training helicopters, which are slightly larger than the Robinson R22.
We also have a Bell 206B-3 JetRanger which is used for Turbine Transitions and Commercial Operations such as photo flights and sightseeing tours.
All our helicopters are fully maintained by a Robinson approved Maintenance and Sales facility: South Florida Helicopters
