Ocean
Helicopters is a well-known, established flight school with an excellent safety record. You
will be flying out of a large, yet quiet, airport with great facilities.
This allows you to gain valuable experience in procedures in and out of
a modern airport but with the comfort of being able to train without busy
traffic to consider.
The airport has three runways; two are asphalt, one of which has an ILS approach, and one is grass. There is a Unicom frequency that is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These facilities mean that your training can be conducted on-site, so you don't waste time and money having to relocate to a practice area like some other schools.
Palm Beach County maintains our airport and no expense is spared when it comes to looking after its facilities.
Ocean Helicopters' office features seperate classrooms for pre-flight briefings, a student area with high speed internet access, and free use of TestPrep software. This means you can take as many practise written exams as you like before sitting the real thing, and due to this method, we have never had a student fail a written exam.
