What are the hidden costs?

  • With Ocean Helicopters there are no hidden costs. We are totally honest with unbiased advice and tell you what is actually needed. This way you wont be surprised with additional charges.

Do I need a medical?

  • Yes. We will arrange this for you with our on-site FAA medical examiner.

My vision is not 20/20, does that matter?

  • No, your vision just needs to be corrected to 20/20 while you are flying. Glasses and contact lenses are both accepted.

When can I start my training?

  • Here at Ocean Helicopters we do not have "set dates" on which to start your training, unlike some other flight schools. We work with the customer and arrange a start date that suits YOU.

Where do I sit my final Oral Exam and Flight Test?

  • Right here, with our on-site FAA examiner. You don't have to go to a different test center or airport.
